About Leenke
After completing my studies in Slavonic Linguistics, I studied classical singing at the Amsterdam Conservatory.
I am the conductor of the 'Vrijburg Cantorij' church choir and teach singing lessons in Amsterdam. In addition to this I run a course called 'Singing from the Basics' at the Haarlem H'art Academy. I also sing professionally as part of the Cappella Amsterdam chamber choir.
The main purpose of my classes is to let people enjoy their voices and experience the great feeling of freedom and well-being that singing can give to people. My classes in Biodanza Vital Development have a similar goal: they aim to help people to get in touch with our often diminished sense of inner freedom and vitality and can have healing effects on several aspects of life.
In 2009 I graduated at the BWA Biodanza Vital Development School in Amsterdam and became a member of the organising team of this institute. I facilitate a weekly Biodanza Vital Development course at the Haarlem H'art Academy, and offer occasional workshops in Vrijzinnig Centrum Vrijburg in Amsterdam.
From September 2010 I will be teaching in the Geert Groote School in Amsterdam as well, on a weekly basis.
